Oregon Children's Theater offers a variety of in-school programs to enhance curriculum through theater skills.
Loud and Clear: A program that helps students achieve benchmark standards in public speaking. Using our knowledge of theatrical performance techniques, OCT uses a three-pronged approach that provides both teachers and students with the tools for successful public speaking.
Read, Write, Act: Students learn a method of adapting a story for the stage as they read a book then dramatize several key scenes that tell the story. Those scenes will then be staged into a reading of the script for the final class.
Educational Theatre Program: ETP is a collaboration between Kaiser Permanente and Oregon Children’s Theatre to provide schools with engaging productions that promote healthy life choices.
