Pete the Cat Live Sketches


OCT invited several local artists to sketch the show live from the audience. Check out their interpretations below!

Adrian Wallace

Adrian was born in Nottingham, England and first learned to draw and paint from his grandfather. He shares a tiny house with a big dog, two cats, and a lovely wife. He makes comics, graphics, and web things for a living.

Naomi Rubin

Naomi is a writer and illustrator for her comic, Domestic Animal. She operates her creative studio, Naomiyaki, which focuses on illustration and character design. Her work has been featured on book covers, web applications, and more.

Becky Hawkins

Becky is a cartoonist and musician who was recently commissioned by the Community Alliance of Tenants to create a comic book about renters’ rights in Portland. Her work can be found at French Toast Comix.

SW Conser

S.W. Conser creates animated content for Portland-area studios and oversees contract work through his firm, Conch Communications.  He has also created storyboards for commercial and feature productions and animation studios.

David Hohn

David received his degree in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art. His illustrations can be found in picture books, children’s theater posters, video games, toys and apparel graphics, and more. Look for his latest work with OCT for the upcoming A Year With Frog & Toad show poster!

Aaron McConnell

Aaron is a graphic novel illustrator and member of Helioscope Studio, the largest freelance comic professionals’ studio in the U.S.  Aaron attended the Rhode Island School of Design and has illustrated several graphic novels, including The U.S. Constitution: A Graphic Adaptation.
