We believe theater activities foster creativity, communication skills, and self-confidence.
We believe theater has the most impact when children (and “their adults”) have the opportunity to ask and answer questions about all they have seen onstage.
We believe theater learning can always be integrated with, and accelerate, day-to-day classroom learning.
We believe no child should be denied the magic of live theater, and all of its benefits, simply because they can't afford it.
We are committed to making all our beliefs a reality through our high-quality programs, but we can’t do it without your help. This year, we will raise 25% of our budget through gifts from people like you. Click on the links to the left to discover how your gift helps, and the benefits you receive in thanks for your support of OCT.

Oregon Children's Theatre is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, so your donation is entirely tax-deductible.
The report details the number of children, teachers, and family members OCT served last season. We couldn't have done it without generous support from our community! Download the report
Many generous and community-minded companies match their employee’s gifts to non-profits. Ask your human resources department if your company has a matching gift program.
Or donate through Work for Art and the City of Portland, in partnership with Clackamas County and Washington County, will make a matching donation to Work for Art.
If you’ve already donated to Oregon Children’s Theatre, consider making a matching gift to Oregon Cultural Trust and receive a 100% tax credit on your gift to the Trust.
