MESSAGE FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR: At Oregon Children’s Theatre we want every audience member to have an incredible theater experience. That includes our most important partner: you. We know that all teachers are facing growing expectations and shrinking resources. A field trip has to be more than just a fun excursion, and it has to be affordable. That’s why we keep our ticket prices low, and why I choose plays that are both entertaining AND springboards for learning.

Why plan a field trip with us?

• EASE: Our adminstrative and theater staff make your field trip planning easy.
• COST: We are affordable. Prices range from $5.75 to $7.75. Plus there are scholarships available to schools that qualify.
• CONTENT: Our plays are typically based in great children’s literature, with adaptations of books teachers are using in their classrooms and which families are reading at home.
• RESOURCES: We provide educational resources–from resource guides to professional development workshops.

Educational Theatre Program

In partnership with Kaiser Permanente, we offer FREE touring productions designed to promote healthy living. The programs prompt peer-to-peer learning experiences that reach students in a creative, nontraditional way.

Loud and Clear
