Fall 2010 — Texting the Sun is a thought-provoking production which spotlights our 21st-century, multi-media reality through the eyes of young adolescents. How are they—along with their parents, teachers and counselors—expected to cope with the minute-to-minute assault of news cycles, advertising campaigns, social sites, video games, cell phones, and instant messaging? Touring to schools Fall 2010; grades 6-8; approximately 55 minutes long; minimum audience size is 50.
Winter/Spring 2011 — 1 ½ is an interactive production focusing on the complex issues surrounding childhood obesity. 1 ½ goes deeper than the food pyramid by addressing many of the social influences that complicate positive decision-making. Bullying, peer pressure, conflict resolution, healthy communication, and empathy are all cornerstones of this imaginative, funny, thought-provoking production. Touring to schools Winter/Spring 2011; Grades 4-6; approximately 40 minutes long; minimum audience size is 50.
