Make your trip to the theater even more memorable! Downtown Portland is full of family-friendly, fun, and educational things to do. Make a day of it and explore the riches of the cultural district, grab a slice of pizza, or people watch at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

While you're downtown, consider the following:

Portland Art Museum and/or the sculpture garden next door.

Step back in time at the Oregon Historical Society.

Pioneer Courthouse Square: Be sure to visit the famous “Expose Yourself to Art Statue.”

Picnic and play in the park blocks.

Explore the Farmer's Market on Saturdays near PSU south of the theater on the Park Blocks

Visit the Central Library and explore the Beverly Cleary children’s area. All of our plays this season are based on fantastic children’s books, check one out to read or re-read after the play.

Ride the Streetcar to the waterfront for ice cream on the boardwalk or to the Pearl District and visit Jameson Square.
